Joy Comes in the Morning
The Word of God is full of hope. In some seasons or times in your life, it may seem like a hopeless situation, however, God is still with you in those moments. Let's take a look at Psalm 30, and look to the Word to see how we should look on these kinds of situations.
1I will exalt you, lord, for you rescued me.You refused to let my enemies triumph over me.2O lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.3You brought me up from the grave,

In verses 1 and 2, we see that God will rescue you, and he refused to let enemies get the best of you. So who are our enemies exactly? The enemies that we would fight against would be dark spritual forces. God gives us authority over every scheme of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We see that if we cry out to God that he will restore our health ! We see in verse 5 that weeping will last for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
There may be times where you may feel very saddened by events or circumstances. Notice here that there is nothing wrong with weeping, but know that the Lord is your strength, and he is your joy. We can stand on the Lord and his promises no matter what we are going through at the moment.
Again we see that in v.11 he can even turn your mourning into dancing. When we look to God in the middle of our sorrow and mourning, He says in his Word that he will turn it right around and turn it into joy and dancing. I often relate this to an exchange program. We give God sorrow, he gives us back joy. We give him sickness, he restores our health.
What a great and wonderful God we serve!
